Odyssey demo day
The Odyssey

30 days. One scoreboard: traction.

An investment competition built around momentum, not polish. Run by Origin House.

$200K invested · $100K into each of 2 winning teams
The scoreboard

By day 30: are people pulling on it?

Tech founders and Main Street operators compete in the same pool and get judged the same way. Anything that proves the market is leaning in counts: revenue, signed LOIs, pilots, design partners, active users.

The scoreboard weighs all of it together.

Day 30 prize

$100K into each of the two top teams on the board. $200K total, deployed by Origin House.

How it actually runs

Three acts, thirty days.

  • Decks and storytelling.
    Live product and pulled-on demand.
  • Quarterly demo day.
    Demo Day on day 30.
  • Vanity metrics.
    Revenue, LOIs, pilots, users.
01 · Week 1

The Start

Pick the business, name the customer, write down what traction looks like by day 30. By Friday, everyone's on record.

02 · Weeks 2–4

The Build

Weekly milestones: paying customer, signed LOI, live product. Mornings open with a clinic: attorneys, marketers, investors, operators, all in the room.

03 · Day 30

Demo Day

VCs, angels, and the wider Origin House network show up in person. Where you land on the board comes down to revenue, deals, pilots, and users, not the slides.
