Molubah Seley

General Partner & Founder

Molubah Seley is General Partner & Founder at Origin House. He is a 3x venture-backed founder with experience building companies across AI, retail, and real estate.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, studied Neuroscience and Cognitive Science at Carleton College, and has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by J.P. Morgan Chase. Molubah left Liberia as a child, fleeing civil war with his family, and has said the experience taught him that where you start has nothing to do with where you end up.

Kathy (Thu) Mai

Founding Partner & Studio Director

Kathy Mai is Founding Partner & Studio Director at Origin House, where she leads strategy, finance, legal, operations, and partnerships.

She is also President of T2P Consulting, a boutique advisory firm helping early-stage founders build scalable financial structures, investor-grade reporting, and AI-enabled operations. Prior to T2P, Kathy spent nearly six years at Marathon Oil Corporation as an Advanced Planning Analyst and Advanced Tax Analyst, and before that worked as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte.

Her background spans FP&A, corporate finance, and risk management. Kathy holds a degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

Timothy Lambrecht

Board Chairman

Timothy Lambrecht is Board Chairman at Origin House. He is also Managing Member of Blind Shot Ventures.

Prior to that, Tim spent over six years at Hi-Crush, where he served as Senior Advisor to the Office of the CEO, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Corporate Strategy. Before Hi-Crush, he was Director of Strategic Initiatives at Hi Crush Proppants and a Manager at PMB Helin Donovan. He began his career at Deloitte.

Tim holds a degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
