The regional win advances General Ammonia Company to the global competition in San Francisco for a chance at $1 million in investment. That is the global prize opportunity, not an award won at this regional.

Co-organized by The BETA Group and Origin House as part of Twin Cities Startup Week, the regional brought Minnesota companies to the stage in partnership with Startup World Cup and Pegasus Tech Ventures.

From 134 applicants, 20 companies pitched in the semifinals and ten reached the regional final. Each shared their company with the judges and the room.
